Returns & Refunds

At Card Makey, your satisfaction is our priority. We take great pride in our bespoke, high-quality cards that are printed just for you. This policy outlines when a return is possible and how the process works.

Our Policy on Personalised Cards

Every card you create with Card Makey is a unique, one-of-a-kind item, designed by you and printed to order. Because of this personalised nature, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for cards where you have changed your mind about the design.

Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, the right to cancel an order within 14 days (the "cooling-off" period) does not apply to goods that are made to a consumer's own specifications or are clearly personalised. We strongly encourage you to review your design carefully before finalising your order.

Issues with Quality or Damage

While we cannot accept returns for unwanted designs, we absolutely stand behind the quality of our products. We will always provide a resolution if your order arrives with a clear fault.

You are entitled to a free replacement or a full refund if your item has:

  • Arrived damaged in transit.
  • A significant printing error or is of poor print quality.
  • An error that was not present in the final design you approved.

How to Request a Replacement or Refund

If your order has been delivered with a quality issue, please contact our customer service team within 14 days of receiving it.

To help us resolve this for you quickly, please follow these steps:

  • Email us at hello@cardmakey.com.
  • In the subject line, please write "Issue with Order" followed by your order number.
  • In the email, please provide a brief description of the problem.
  • Attach a clear photo of the faulty item. This is essential for us to verify the issue and process your request.

Our Resolution Process

Once we receive your email, our team will review the issue. If the item is confirmed to be faulty or damaged, we will offer you the choice of either:

  • A free replacement card, printed and shipped to you at no extra cost.
  • A full refund for the item.

There is no need to mail the faulty card back to us.

Refunds

If you opt for a refund, it will be processed back to your original payment method. Please allow 5-10 business days for the funds to appear in your account, as processing times can vary between payment providers.
